Also, where you mentioned "Safer" with the hamster wheel thing, I would agree, but saftey wasn't the thing in mind. I was going for the craziest thing poss.! Hence, I would never build that...

oops, misunderstood a little, where you talk about the impact point, and skidding, well, that's part of the challenge, is releaseing the brakes at just the right moment. Also, to give you an idea of the feel of the smaller one I built, it felt like hitting a small double(jump), in slow motion, without the tires ever leaveing the ground! It was sickeningly fun! Hopefully, this local guy I know on here will be letting me bring these to life at his place this year!

Hey dude, Thanks for the intrest in my stunt Ideas, and for the Pendulum, where you're worried about skiding off of it, well, that's the key reason for starting it straight up(not tipped back at all), right at the point it would take almost no effort to start the tip over, and when you are past that point, your weight will keep it going. Also, two other things to help with that, would be, a slat at the foreward edge ov the platform, would be raised(to catch your tire and keep it from going off), and the return weight, would be just the very least amout of weight needed to return the platform(no more than needed, so it don't hold you back). Also, it's easier to tip these over than you think. If you didn't see it, check out the smaller version I made(in my "ramps, stunts, action" album), and that one started at 45 degrees one way and tipped to 45 degrees the other way.

Yeah- I race in the FR Cup- 40+ Expert OldFart Class. Super fun place to ride a bike- the jumps, the Dual Slalom track is insanely fun.
